InHabit has a permanent team consisting of 4 directors, 6 project architects, 4 student/graduate architects and 2 accounts and business managers.
We work closely with contracting consultants that cross a breadth of experience, including, specialised architectural designers, marketing staff, planning staff and specialised in house engineers.

Josh Mcmartin
Documentor
Graduating with honours at MIT, Josh’s skill set lies in the technical undertakings of architecture. Collaborating with ARUP on facade design and creating standards and templates for technical work, Josh has been able to develop a strong technical skillset. For your project this ensures that innovation will be designed and constructed to the highest degree possible.
Josh oversees all technical construction documentation, including CC and tender packages, aswell as receiveing all consultant documents, to give consistency across the project. Having worked extensively in Australia, Josh is aware of all compliancy measures needed and works with them innovatvively.

Will Stephenson
The Connector / Project Manager
Will is a registered Australian architect who holds a PHD in architectural innovation and related technologies. His experience across a range of Pritzker winning firms has culminated in a strong project understanding.
As the head project manager, Will collaborates with the client and relating contractors/consultants to make sure all constraints of the project are not only met, but exemplified. Building scheduling will be closely followed by will, as well as the logistics of building materials and trades. Capabilities include site presence and visits to oversee quality and ensure success. His vast relationship and experience in construction and engineering allows for his choice of the right people for the right jobs.

Maddy Brown
Front End Designer

Being on the board for the Australian institute of architects for design excellence, Maddy has developed a strong design philosophy and is indespensible in design conception.
Having years of experience in rural Australian projects (including work with the likes of Richard Leplastrier and Peter Stutchbury), Maddy will provide a deep understanding of context and suitability, whilst having a hold over all the necessary codes and parameters. Maddy will be in charge of the initial design conception/documentation and DA processes of the project, and will help to make sure the vision that is had is the result that is kept.

Alex Forbes
Business development / Studio liason
​
With a combined MBA and a masters of architecture from the university of sydney, Alex has existed at the intersection of idealism and reality. Working as the head of financial development for BVN, Alex has a pretenatural understanding of the financial side of architecture, ensuring that budgets are met and that the outcome will be of the highest quality for both the studio and the client.
Through the project, Alex will be in control of the financing, invoicing and billing, so that timelines remain uninterupted and ensure that all subcontractors are equally as satisfied. This will include timeline projections, rates calculations, expedient supervision of any unexpected costs and events.
